About Us

IGSO (International Growers Standards Organization) is a Hong Kong–based non-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding trust in global agriculture. Founded on the belief that honesty and transparency are the foundation of a healthy food system, IGSO unites growers, laboratories, markets, retailers, associations, and consumers under one common goal — to verify truth from origin and protect the integrity of agricultural products throughout their journey.

We promote agricultural excellence through a combination of standards, real-time certification, and item-level traceability. Our work begins with the Good Growers Charter, which defines growers not by geography, but by conscience, responsibility, and commitment to quality. IGSO further supports these growers through the IGSO Ecosystem — including Live Cert, Versatile Trace, Origin Plus, Retail 3.0, and RWA Service — enabling trusted products to be recognized, rewarded, and protected.

With partners across Hong Kong, Mainland China, ASEAN, Europe, and the Middle East, IGSO is building a global trust infrastructure that turns integrity into market value and creates a fairer, more transparent agricultural economy for all.

Our Mission

To rebuild trust in agriculture by establishing verifiable standards, empowering good growers, and ensuring every product can be authenticated from origin to consumer.

We achieve this by:

  • Promoting the Good Growers Charter as a global foundation of responsible agriculture

  • Implementing real-time certification and traceability infrastructure to ensure product truthfulness

  • Supporting growers, markets, and retailers with data-driven systems that enhance quality, safety, and transparency

  • Building cross-border cooperation with laboratories, GI regions, wholesale markets, governments, and universities

  • Helping growers turn verified integrity into brand value, market access, and long-term success

Our Vision

A world where every agricultural product is transparent, traceable, and trusted — enabling good growers to thrive and consumers to choose with confidence.

In this future:

  • Growers are recognized not only for yield, but for integrity

  • Markets reward honesty and responsible practices

  • Consumers can verify freshness, origin, and authenticity instantly

  • Technology protects the value of agricultural work

  • Global supply chains operate with accountability and respect

IGSO envisions an agriculture ecosystem where truth is the default, not the exception — and where trust becomes a universal language across borders, cultures, and industries.
