Before you write

Tell us which of these you are — it decides what happens next

Different approaches take different paths through IGSO, and the difference matters. Say which one you are in your first line and you will get a straight answer faster.

A producer who wants to be listed

Tell us your geographical indication, your product, and what evidence you already hold.

We start with the free IGSO Standards Check — no fee, no obligation. We confirm your GI against the official registers. If your GI has no Atlas entry yet, we write one before anything is listed.

A buyer looking to source

Tell us the product or origin you are interested in, and the market you serve.

We route your enquiry to the producer. We never publish producer contact details, at any tier. An enquiry obliges neither side to anything, and it is never a mandate application.

Someone seeking to represent a product in a territory

Tell us the territory, the product, and your standing in that market.

This is an application, and it is decided — it is not an appointment. A mandate exists only once the producer confirms it and IGSO records it. Evidence review runs at that point, not before.

A market, association or standards body

Tell us who you convene and what you would want IGSO to do.

Institutional conversations go to a person, not a queue. Wholesale markets, producer associations and standards bodies are how the ecosystem reaches scale.

What happens after you write

  • You get a reply in writing, from a person.
  • We tell you the next step and exactly what we need from you — no open-ended requests.
  • If IGSO is not the right party for what you need, we say so rather than keeping you in a process.

We publish no producer contact details on this website, at any tier. Every approach routes through IGSO — that is the design, not an obstacle.
